What is the Difference Between a Boudoir & Glamour Photoshoot?
Hello! I get asked this question quite a bit so I just wanted to specify the difference between a glamour and a boudoir shoot, so you can determine which one is best for you!
So Glamour Photoshoots are usually done OUTSIDE, ON LOCATION!
Think about a beautiful magazine style photoshoot - feautring YOU!
This is great if you're celebrating a milestone, haven't been photographed in a while, or just because. I believe everyone deserves to have epic photographs of them where they look and feel like the best version of themselves. So when you are sitting in your home wearing sweatpants that your newborn threw up on, you can look back at your images or your album and remember who you are:
Omg no, I'm a bad bitch!
Glamour shoots you can also do with someone else! Truly just think if you had someone follow you around with a camera looking so EPIC! And getting all those INSTAGRAM WORTHY shots of you!
Boudoir! Yay! So this has recently become very very popular because I think there is a revolution going on for us women , where we are able to accept our sensuality.
At first when I was thinking about boudoir - I thought it was soley about just being sexy. And that made me feel very nervous because I enever felt like a really sexy person.
But! What I've learned, is it's not so much about being sexy. It's about being open, vunerable, free and letting your divine feminine nature come to life! Even if you dont feel like super feminine, no worries - I can totally bring that out of you hehe!
So Boudoir is usually done in our HOME STUDIO, although some people like to do it outside as well :D
This can be done for yourself, for self confidence to celebrate yourself. OR as a gift for a significant other - since most people end up getting an album and some wall art! This makes SUCH a cool gift!
Most women never see themselves like this or get to celebrate their body, or wear lingerie. So it is so cool to see yourself all dolled up and looking like a bombshell!
I think everyone should see themselves like this!
So which one should I do?
It's best to focus your photoshoot on ONE session at a time. So either choose if you want to do boudoir or glamour. But its totally up to you!
If you want beautiful, updated photos of you. A day to yourself. To feel really beautiful again .To use these images for MARKETING, website, or just for fun ——-> GLAMOUR!
If you want to celebrate your body, wear something sexy, get all dolled up and surprise the hubby with something sexy, Do something out of your comfort zone. Or connect with a side of yourself you may have never seen ————-> BOUDOIR!
