Soo, I can't be the only one. But do you ever go to do something, mainly creatively, and before you post it, send it, or complete it - you ask yourself:
"Wait, would people even like this?"
I don't know how many times this idea has popped into my head, and held back so many of my creative endeverous.
Because that moment of hesistation turns into..."Ah, I'll post it tomorrow. " And then a million tomorrows later - it is never posted. And it never sees the light of day.
Instead of choosing self doubt, choose self love. I read this cool quote that said:
"There is no room for self doubt. That is what critics are for."
And wow, that opened up my eyes. WHO CARES IF THEY LIKE IT!! It's not for them. It's for that ONE person who does like it. Even if that one person is you.
Some of my greatest accomplishments have been things I've personally been iffy about - but posted out into the world any way. And people loved it! It's not about creating things just because people will love them. It's about speaking your truth & creating your own release!
So, instead ask yourself:
"How does this make me feel?" :)
And if it is good and positive, POST AWAY. If you still need to work on it - work on it for YOU, not out of fear of others.
